The buzz around the vivo X300 Ultra is definitely picking up, and if the rumors are true, we're in for a treat. Having seen what vivo did with the X200 Ultra, especially when paired with that ZEISS telephoto converter, I'm excited to see what they cook up next.

According to a leak, the upcoming Ultra flagship, likely the vivo X300 Ultra, will be powered by the Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5. I mean, the current Snapdragon 8 Elite is already more than enough for most users, so this new chip should provide plenty of headroom.

The phone is expected to sport a 6.8-inch flat display with a 2K resolution. What's interesting is that the device could be the first to rock a dual 200MP camera system! Yes, you read that right. If the speculations prove correct, both the primary and ultrawide lenses will be upgraded, meaning we can expect images that are rich in detail.

To give you some context, the X200 Ultra has a 50MP primary shooter, a 50MP ultrawide, and a 200MP telephoto lens. If the ultrawide gets bumped to 200MP, I can only imagine the macro shots you'll be able to capture. However, vivo might also opt to upgrade the primary camera, depending on which sensor performs better.

Since the X200 Ultra isn't that old, don't expect the X300 Ultra to arrive anytime soon. We might see it in early 2026. Fingers crossed for a global release!
