Samsung Galaxy S26 Ultra: New Design Leaks and Potential Price Hike
So, I've been following the buzz around the Samsung Galaxy S26 Ultra, and it looks like we're getting a sneak peek at some design changes. It appears the phone will have more rounded corners compared to the S25 Ultra. Remember when those older Ultra phones were a little too edgy? Some folks even complained about them being uncomfortable to hold or even ripping their pockets! It seems Samsung is listening and softening things up.
What's interesting is that this isn't the first hint we've gotten about the S26 Ultra's look. Some leaked screen protectors popped up recently, also showing off those rounded edges. It seems like a consistent design direction, so I am believing it more and more.
Ice Universe, a pretty reliable source, even posted some images and a video comparing the S26 Ultra to both the S25 Ultra and, surprisingly, the upcoming iPhone 17 Pro Max. This comparison shows that while the S26 Ultra is rounding things out, Apple might be going even further with the curves. When you think about it, this kind of competition is great for us consumers.
However, it's not all good news. There's talk about a possible price increase for the entire Galaxy S26 series. Apparently, component costs are going up, and that could trickle down to our wallets. I guess we'll have to wait and see how that plays out.
Also, the launch might be later than usual. Instead of the typical early February reveal, rumors suggest we might have to wait until February 25th. I, for one, am trying to be patient, because I'm really interested in getting my hands on this one.
