Samsung Expands One UI 8 Beta to More Galaxy Devices Soon
It feels like just yesterday we were talking about One UI 7, but Samsung is already gearing up to push out One UI 8 to a broader range of devices. I know, keeping up with these updates can be a bit of a whirlwind!
Initially, it seemed like the Galaxy Z Fold 7, Z Flip 7, and Z Flip FE were the only ones getting the stable One UI 8 treatment, while the Galaxy S25 series was stuck in beta. But don't worry if you're rocking a different device, because Samsung has finally shared some good news.
Starting next week, if you're in India, Korea, the UK, or the US, you might be able to get your hands on the One UI 8 beta for the Galaxy S24 series, Z Fold 6, and Z Flip 6. It's a chance to test out the new features and give Samsung some feedback before the official release. To do this, you will have to go to the Samsung Members app, signup for the beta program. After doing this, check for an impending update at Settings > Software update > Download and Install.
But that's not all! Over the following month, Samsung plans to expand the beta program to even more devices. We're talking about the Galaxy S23 series, Z Fold 5, Z Flip 5, Galaxy A36 5G, Galaxy A55 5G, Galaxy A35 5G, and even the Galaxy A54. It's great to see Samsung including a wider range of devices in the beta testing phase, ensuring that more users get a chance to experience the latest features.
However, if you're not into beta testing, you'll be happy to know that the stable version of One UI 8 is set to roll out to more devices starting in September. While Samsung hasn't specifically mentioned which devices will be first in line, it's a pretty safe bet that the Galaxy S25 series will be among the initial recipients. And later in the year, One UI 8 Watch will also expand its availability beyond the Galaxy Watch 8 series.
So, if you're eager to get your hands on One UI 8, keep an eye on your Samsung Members app and software update settings.
