OnePlus has been dropping hints about the upcoming OnePlus 15R, and I'm genuinely excited about the latest reveal: its massive battery. We initially saw glimpses of it as the OnePlus Ace 6T in China, but the big question was whether the global version would pack the same punch.

Well, OnePlus has now confirmed that the 15R will indeed boast a 7,400mAh battery. That's a significant jump, even surpassing the battery capacity of the new OnePlus 15. I mean, who wouldn't want a phone that can seemingly last for days?

Beyond the battery, OnePlus has been teasing us with images of the 15R in its Phantom Green color. It looks pretty sleek, if I do say so myself. And if that weren't enough, the phone is slated to be the first to feature the Snapdragon 8 Gen 5 chip (non-Elite version). Furthermore, expect a super smooth 165Hz display and robust IP66/68/69/69K water and dust resistance.

So, what does this all mean? It seems OnePlus is aiming to deliver a powerhouse device that doesn't compromise on battery life or performance. If the rumors hold up, the OnePlus 15R could be a serious contender in the market, especially for users who prioritize battery endurance and raw processing power.

I'm looking forward to the official launch on December 17th to uncover all the details. In my opinion, if OnePlus can deliver on these promises, the 15R could be a game-changer.
