Galaxy Tab S11 Ultra & S25 FE: First Leaked Renders Suggest Design Changes
It seems like the buzz around the Z Fold and Flip hasn't stopped Samsung from quietly prepping their next wave of devices. While we're all waiting for the official Galaxy S25 FE, some leaked images, courtesy of Evan Blass, are giving us a sneak peek at what Samsung might have in store – and it includes the Galaxy Tab S11 Ultra!
Let's dive into the Tab S11 Ultra. What immediately caught my eye is the potential shift in design. If these leaks are accurate, Samsung might be ditching the wider notch from the S10 Ultra in favor of a more streamlined, waterdrop notch. I think that's an interesting choice, considering how important those bezels are for actually holding the tablet. Bezels that are too thin can sometimes make a tablet awkward to hold.
We can also see what appears to be a dual-camera setup on the back, and, of course, S Pen support. And remember that previous leak? All signs point to the Tab S11 series, including the Ultra, sporting a MediaTek Dimensity 9400 SoC. If this turns out to be accurate, it'll be a welcome change to see something other than a Snapdragon chip in the high-end tablet.
As for the Galaxy S25 FE, the leaked renders paint a pretty familiar picture. It looks like a Samsung phone, and I can't say I'm surprised by that. However, it does seem like the bezels might be getting a bit of a trim, which would be nice. I always appreciate when companies try to minimize the screen's borders, as it creates a more immersive experience. Samsung seems to be reducing bezels on all models, based on these leaks.
Based on the typical launch cycle, we're probably looking at a late Q3 or early Q4 release for these devices. And if that's the case, I'd bet they'll be running One UI 8, built on top of Android 16, right out of the box.
Ultimately, while these are just leaks, they give us a good indication of where Samsung is heading. I'm eager to see what the final products look like and how they perform in the real world. Stay tuned!
