Samsung's Galaxy A series has consistently delivered solid mid-range options, and it looks like they're already working on the next iteration. I remember when the Galaxy A56 finally hit the US market – it felt like a long wait after its initial international release. It even impressed some reviewers enough to suggest it was a better deal than the flagship Galaxy S25, which is saying something!

Now, it appears there's evidence that the Galaxy A57 is in development. A user on Twitter posted screenshots that seemingly show the A57's firmware on Samsung's test servers. The model number, SM-A576B, suggests that this might be the international version of the phone. If I'm being honest, that detail has me a bit concerned. It could mean that Samsung hasn't confirmed if they're making a specific version for the US market just yet.

Besides the fact that the phone exists in some stage of development, we don't know much else about the Galaxy A57. There's speculation that it might use an Exynos 1680 chip, which Samsung is reportedly developing. It's all just rumors and guesses right now.

Looking back, the Galaxy A56 came out internationally in March before arriving in the US during the summer. Hopefully, the A57 won't have such a lengthy delay before it hits stateside. But if it follows the A56's release pattern, we might not see it in the US until July of next year. Only time will tell, but I'm eagerly waiting to see what Samsung has in store for the next mid-range contender.
